I hope you know you’re worthy of support in the birth you desire.
I can’t wait to meet you
I'm a West Michigan mom of four who married her high school sweetheart and runs on chocolate & peanut butter. As a health educator by degree, my desire to support & champion others flourishes every time I hear a birth story. This fascination I have for all things pregnancy, birth & postpartum that led me to become a doula stems from my own experience advocating for my birth wishes and learning to trust my intuition.
I hope every birthing person I meet knows this - your birth experience matters, your intuition is mighty and I will always be your supporter.
I am certified as a birth doula with BEST Doula Training.
A Baby Bird Approach
For me, it’s all about you. The type of birth experience you desire is the type of birth experience I hope to help you achieve. I’ll take time to listen to your hopes and fears and then help you develop a plan + practice strategies to make that plan a reality.
And I’ll be with you every step of the way. From prenatal visits to as much text + phone call availability, from as much active labor support as you’d like to various postpartum visits and loads of resources along the way… I’ll be by your side, cheering you on and reminding you of your strength.
More doulas I love…

Hannah Dilly
Let me tell you about Hannah. She brings calm and tenderness into every room, especially the labor room. She has an innate ability to see what you’re feeling, what you need and how she can help. She is confident and humble, endearingly funny and a woman of rooted faith. These qualities + her experience in birth work make her one of my dearest friends and one of the very best doulas in the biz.

Hannah Whalen
Let me tell you about another Hannah. She is attentive, wise and confident in the most real way. Her joy for her own motherhood and that of others is contagious, and her faith is the foundation she makes every decision from. She is a critical thinker, witty and so smart when it comes to all things birth-related, These qualities + her experience in birth work make her (another) one of my dearest friends and one of the very best doulas in the biz.
Because life happens…
Sometimes in birth work (and life in general), things happen. You hire me, I help you plan your dream birth, labor starts and… life happens. I can’t be there.
Now, rest assured, this isn’t a common occurrence. There are very (very) few things that would keep me from supporting your birth, but examples would be that I am attending another birth or I have a family emergency.
Know this — doulas work best in community. If it’s looking like there may be a conflict or if something comes up last-minute, I will send one of my dear doula friends in my absence, as a backup.
And I would never send someone to support you that I wouldn’t trust to support my own labor.
